Although at many museums there is a desire to address the issues of accessibility and inclusion, they often lack the knowledge and experience to introduce practical changes. The Stedelijk and the Van Abbe want to use STUDIO i to address this issue.
In an inclusive museum, intersectional stories lead to encounters, new or otherwise. These kinds stories are not only about yourself but also about the “other” – regardless of gender, age, cultural background or disability. A museum for more people by more people.
